Joy in Khobar

Inspired by travel and a passion for truly great food, L’atelier Gourmand de Filwa was born out of a desire to offer the same quality of world class fine dinning found in the greatest cities of the world, with a broad menu of culinary delights right here in Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

The owner spent the last 15 years learning how to cook out of a desire to entertain and bring a smile to his family member's faces. As someone who appreciates great food and quality cuisine, he was deadest on creating a truly exceptional restaurant that would bring joy and bewilderment to diners, rather than simply a meal.

The restaurant was named after the owner's mother (Filwa), a woman who brought joy to everyone she met.

Our Chef, a food enthusiast and quality obsessed artist, actively sources the freshest, most exclusive ingredients and brings in over 25 years of experience in world renowned culinary institutes to bring magic and delight to every dish he creates.

As a team, we know that a great restaurant does more than just offer great food; it brings joy, a sense of wonder and surprise, helps create memories, and uplifts the spirit. Atelier Gourmand De Filwa is our attempt at doing just that.

What we do

Atelier De Gourmand is a French term, meaning the artist's workshop. And that's exactly what we strive to do. To use food as a medium to create stunning works of art that are beautiful to look at, delicious to eat, and make us wonder and experience joy.

No cuisine is out of the question, if we can find the very best ingredients from any corner of the world and we know it will delight you, we will find the very best way to prepare and serve it in style.

Our core menu will remain forever, the classics such as our Signature Tomahawk Steak or Sayadiyah Shrimp will always be there, and we will also offer a constantly evolving specials menu.
